Collaborating On A Project
⚠ Only accounts with "Owner" or "Admin" permissions on a venue can invite other collaborators to it!
To invite others to collaborate on a project, first enter the designer for the venue that you wish to share.
Next, press the "Share" button in the top right hand corner.
Under the "Add collaborators & adjust permissions" section, enter the email address of the person you wish to invite into the "Enter User Email" field.
Then immediately to the right of the field, click the dropdown arrow and choose what level of permissions to grant the new collaborator. Finally, click share.
Once this is completed, the person you invited will receive an invitation email with a link leading to your venue's designer.
Multiple collaborators can work on a venue simultaneously and review changes. Collaborators that did not previously have an account on POPUP can also set their password like a normal user to preserve their permissions and venues.
⚠ For security reasons, invitation links provided to collaborators are single-use and will expire once used. If you or a collaborator are using an expired link, a new one can be issued by following these steps. Alternatively you can login into your account and accept the invite as per the instructions below.
How to Accept an Invite from the Interface
If you have been invited to collaborate on a venue you can also find the invite within your account under Venues.
- The venue you have been invited to will appear at the top of the list.
- Accept the invitation using the button provided.
Permission Levels
- Editor: Editors can modify any part of the venue itself, but cannot invite any collaborators of their own.
- Admin: Admins have all the permissions granted to an editor, but can also invite, edit, or remove any other collaborators to the venue except for the owner.
- Owner: This is the user who actually created - and thus owns - the venue. They have full access to modify any part of the venue as they see fit, or can delete the entire venue outright if desired. It is not possible to transfer ownership of a venue to someone else.
