Adding an About Section

When creating a venue, you can add a special popup that provides a general description of the venue and a credits section listing any contributors. Unlike regular popovers, this About popup has a special button of its own which will appear in every room at all times.

By default, all venues feature an About Popup that looks like this:

However, this can be changed, or disabled entirely based on the needs of your venue.

Editing the About Section

To begin, simply click the "?" button at the top-right of your room preview. This will display your About section, and is the same button which will be visible to attendees visiting the real room. To hide this button for easier editing, you can also press the "Interface" button.

Upon clicking this button, the right-hand inspector will display options for customizing the about section.

The entire popup can be disabled and hidden from attendees by disabling the toggle to the right of the "About Dialog" title.

The button that attendees will click on can also be given a custom tooltip using the "Tooltip Text" field.

Credits Section

In addition to the main "About" section of the popup, you may also add a secondary "Credits" tab to the same popup. This may be used to credit yourself, your collaborators, or any artists who may have contributed.

To enable the Credits tab, enable the toggle to the right of the "Credits" field's title. Then simply enter the text you would like to appear within this tab in the resulting rich-text editor.
