Room Backgrounds

Alongside the tools and avatars that make up the main layer of a venue, every room in that venue can also have a Background set. As the name implies, this will be the visual backdrop that appears behind all the other parts in your room.

Background Types

Several different kinds of background are available to choose from and customize:

• Image: Image backgrounds allow you to upload an image of your choosing and use it as the background.
  • Note that image backgrounds will always be aligned to the center of the room and set to cover the full room, clipping the image if necessary. Ideally, you should aim to use an image which is the same aspect and/or resolution as your rooms (as defined in the venue settings)
• Video: Video backgrounds function identically to video zones, allowing you to use either an uploaded video or a video hosted elsewhere as a looping background
  • As with image backgrounds, the video will always be centered on the room and set to cover the room as best as possible
• Color: Color backgrounds display a solid color across the whole room as a backdrop. The specific color can be adjusted using an RGB palette, or it can be fine-tuned using a hexcode field.
• None: Setting your background to "None" will simply disable the background. To attendees, this will generally make the backdrop a black void.
