Audio Zones

Audio zones allow you to place positional audio that fades in and out depending on how close a given attendee's avatar is to the center of the zone. This is in contrast to the ambient audio of a room, which always plays at a constant volume regardless of where the attendee is in the room.

  • Sound File: This allows you to select an audio clip from the assets you have uploaded to your venue. This file can be changed at any time.
  • Autoplay: This determines if the audio starts playing as soon as an attendee enters the room. Like all settings, this can be toggled while attendees are already in the room to control playback.
  • Repeat: This determines if the audio will loop upon ending.
  • Volume: This allows you to set the volume that the audio clip will play at. It can also be set to 0 to mute the zone.
  • Falloff Distance: This determines the distance at which attendees will no longer be able to hear the audio. Due to the circular nature of the zone, this value is analogous to the size of the zone itself.
