Entry/Exit Zones
Entry/Exit zones are points where attendees will appear from or travel into when moving between rooms. When selected, each one features a dropdown in the inspector allowing you to choose which room the exit leads to, and any attendees who click on the exit zone will subsequently travel to that room. Attendees entering the current room from the room that you select will also appear from the exit zone.
Finally, if you set an exit zone's target room as 'None (Starting Point Only)', then it will be used as a landing point for attendees who are just entering your venue, or as a general landing point in rooms that are dead ends with no exits of their own.
- Exit To: This selects the room that this exit zone will send attendees to. If it is set to "None" then it will serve solely as a spawn point for new arrivals. Note that doing so will also hide the other special fields.
- Exit Point: When an attendee clicks on an exit zone, their avatar will move toward the Exit Point of that zone, which you can define in x/y coordinates here. By default, this will be in the middle of the component.
- Trigger Immediately: When this is enabled, attendees will not appear to move toward the exit point, and will instead immediately leave through the exit zone without an animation. By default, this is set to disabled.
- Visual Appearance (Optional): This allows you to select a visual indicator for the zone. Pulsing wave and spinning "click me" options are available, as well as the ability to set a custom image or video indicator.
- Tooltip Text (Optional): This allows you to set a tooltip that will appear if an attendee hovers their cursor over the component.
